an awesome way to write a love letter, perhaps?

 

This is a 1937 Underwood Standard typewriter that has been modified by artist Tyree Callahan.  The keys have been replaced with color pads so one can "type" a picture.  This device fascinates the hell out of me.  This is Callahan's entry for the 2012 West Prize.  More of Callahan's work can be seen here.
