tornados are a bitch

i used to live in H'burg and i still have folks dear to me down there.....this storm skipped its way through town.  i'm told the giant live oaks around Chez Gais are gone.....the dorm where my third ex-husband lived when we were in grad skewl together got hit...(the pine grove in the parking lot to "feel 'em Elam Hall" is where he found he could get anything he wanted by biting my collar bone.......the Ogletree house where i saw a drunken argument between a Nobel laureate and a Chinese post-doc is wrecked.........the church where my friends C and R were married is gone......but no one has died.  the campus was barely populated because it's Mardi Gras and the weekend........lots to be grateful for.....
